Finley Buttes – Cell 8A

DelHur constructed a new disposal cell and access road at the facility.  Major elements included waste excavation; subgrade excavation and stockpile; stormwater culvert removal and backfill; engineered fill; final subgrade preparation; gravel access road construction; cell connections and terminations; HDPE piping; installation of geosynthetic liner system; placement of protective soil layers; and the installation of sumps, mechanical equipment and controls.
