Zapata Disposal Facility

The scope of the project consisted of the construction of disposal Cell 2A of the waste facility. The facility is utilized for the disposal of “drill shavings” from the regional oil industry. The work included 252,000 cy of excavation, subgrade prep, trench excavation for the leachate collection system, construction of a supporting contact water pond, and the construction of a haul road to serve facility operations.
