Lamefoot Mine
The Lamefoot Mine was an underground gold mine located in northeastern Washington in the Kettle Mountain Range. DelHur was contracted to reclaim the 12 acre site. The work scope for the Mine Reclamation included clearing, grubbing, excavation, embankment, reinforced gabion walls, and subgrade preparation all in an effort to re-contour the site to blend the property into the surrounding landscape. DelHur amended the cover soils to promote the growth of native species for the revegetation of the site. We placed the portal in a safe state by installing a 7-foot diameter culvert and gate into the first 200-feet of the portal entrance.
