SH 115 – Winkler County

The project consisted of rehabilitating 5 miles of SH 115 in Winkler County, Texas.  Major work activities included embankment; backfill; blading; proof rolling; flexible base compacted in place to a depth of 10”;  flexible base compacted in place to a depth of 18”; sealcoating; planing asphaltic concrete pavement; drilled shaft foundations for sign mounts; barricades, signs, and traffic handling; biodegradable erosion control logs; aluminum signs; removal and installation of small roadside sign assemblies;  large roadside sign supports and assemblies; work zone pavement marking removal; short term work zone pavement marking installation; reflective pavement marking installation; and asphaltic concrete pavement installation.
